In anticipation of a significant surge in air traffic at Norwalk Huron County Airport (5A1) from April 1 to April 9, 2024, we would like to inform all aircraft operators that a Prior Permission Required (PPR) will be mandatory for landing and utilizing the available facilities during this period.

For those intending to stay at the airport during this timeframe, it is imperative to reserve a parking spot no later than March 29, 2024. Additionally, for departures scheduled on April 8, 2024, following the eclipse, take-off slots will be allocated on a first-come, first-serve basis.

We appreciate your cooperation in adhering to these arrangements, which have been put in place to ensure the smooth operation of the airport during this high-traffic period.
